This unique programme integrates practical ‘real’ English and exposes you to a variety of ‘real life’ situations. This is your opportunity to put into practice everything that you have been working so hard to learn from the books. 

From ordering at a restaurant on our city centre Welsh food sampling tours, to learning about cultural heritage from our knowledgeable experts at our National museums, to exploring our breath taking mountain ranges with our experienced guides. Let your mind absorb the English signs, and chatter on the streets, and connect with the friendly English-speaking locals where you can have meaningful conversations without judgement or stress. Wales is full of history and is the perfect place to learn about the past. We challenge you to listen to our expert guides who take you back in time and show you around Cardiff Castle where you can learn about the history and the origins of the Castle. We will visit the old village of St Fagans, where you will see an amazing  preserved village and you can imagine how people would have lived centuries ago.

The Welsh coast is lined with stunning beaches and rocky cliffs where you will be able to relax on the beach and enjoy some focused learning time where we will stroll along the sandy beaches and take in the sea air.  Try our typical fish and chips on the beach. A true British tradition.

Eat fresh food made and produced in Wales with local expert guides that will take us to the best restaurants in Cardiff. You will learn all about the traditional recipes and sample the local beers and wines. A great day out in Cardiff.

Take the city walking tour with a local tour guide who will tell you the ins and out of the beautiful Capital of Wales. After, we will go to a cute vintage café in one of the stunning shopping arcades for a cuppa tea and a Welsh cake for our ‘focused time’.

Wales is passionate about their national sport, rugby. Cardiff’s rugby stadium is in the heart of the city where you can have a tour of the stadium with a professional guide who will tell you all about the history of the stadium and why it is so central to our city. Take in the atmosphere and sit in the seats of the stadium for our ‘focused time’.

What's included in the programme?

  • Learning materials covering the 4 skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening)

  • Post course support – 1 free online conversation class and 1 free pronunciation class with our community of online learners.
What happens after the programme?

Learning English is a lifelong process and doesn’t end after your experience in Wales, we are giving  all of our students the opportunity to join our online courses. Join weekly online conversation and pronunciation classes with our online learning community. You will get 2 free classes to use when you want. 

Are flights and accommodation included?

We support you with choosing the perfect accommodation and give you recommendations in your price range but it is not included in our package.
We recommend flying to and from Bristol airport or Cardiff airport and using the national express bus to Cardiff city centre. We do not book the bus for you, it is not included in the programme. 

All the details of recommendations will be included in the welcome package email that you will receive when you book the programme. 

Can you show me an example of the week's itinerary?

Trips will change depending on when you come to Cardiff. We will take you to local events and will adapt the tour to the group. This itinerary is just an example of what we can offer.
A meal will be provided every day during the trip.
Entry tickets will be included.
Transport too and from the trip will be provided.
Every day we will have focused learning time, with tasks and exercises throughout the trip.
